Trajectory

Research Development

My academic path has progressively moved from broad engineering foundations toward focused research in machine learning and trustworthy AI. During my master's work, I concentrated on model bias and evaluation in large-scale generative systems.

My current doctoral stage extends that direction into a broader research agenda that includes multimodal learning, applied evaluation, and AI behavior under realistic, context-rich conditions.

This reviewing work reflects my ongoing engagement with the broader AI research community and my interest in rigorous, constructive evaluation of new work.

Milestones

Recent Milestones

Masters Thesis Completed

Completed a master's thesis at the University of Auckland in May 2025 on stereotypical bias in large language and vision-language models.

IJCAI 2025 Publication

Published first-author work on debiasing vision-language models, reflecting a strong interest in fairness-aware multimodal systems.

Ongoing Doctoral Research

Now building a doctoral research agenda around trustworthy AI, contextual modeling, and deployment-relevant evaluation.

Cross-Modal Applications

Contributed to multimodal work that links visual data with environmental metadata in applied domains such as animal re-identification.
