Profile
About Me
I am a doctoral student in Computer Science at the University of Auckland. My work sits at the intersection of trustworthy AI, multimodal learning, and the practical behavior of language and vision-language models in real-world settings.
Overview
Academic Focus
My recent work has focused on how modern AI systems behave when they move beyond clean benchmarks and into open, context-rich environments. I am particularly interested in fairness, bias measurement, debiasing strategies, and the role of metadata in multimodal learning.
Across my thesis and recent publications, I have explored stereotypical bias in large language and vision-language models, and contributed to research on multimodal datasets that combine visual evidence with environmental signals. I care about building AI that is not only accurate, but also interpretable, robust, and socially responsible.

Design
Website Design Philosophy
This website is intentionally designed around the glossy, fruity visual language of the Windows Vista and Windows 7 era. Instead of following today's flatter and more restrained portfolio patterns, it embraces glass panels, gem-like buttons, soft glows, layered reflections, and a sense of playful depth.
The goal is not only visual nostalgia, but also personality. I wanted the site to feel like a personal space shaped by the digital atmosphere of the 2000s, while still presenting academic work in a clear and organized way. In that sense, the interface is both a design choice and a small reflection of the era that shaped how I first encountered computers and the web.
I hope the fruity design of this website could bring you back to the 00s, the era I was born and grew up in.
